Ingredients

  • 1 (Five pound) fully-cooked, boneless ham*
  • 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup, or more to taste
  • Zest and juice of one orange (about 1/4 cup)*
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions

  • Mix together brown sugar, maple syrup, orange zest and juice, mustard and cloves in a medium bowl
  • Place your ham in your slow cooker on low
  • Rub mixture over the ham, cover, and cook for 4-5 hours
  • If desired, baste surface occasionally with the juices

Notes

  • Although this recipe has not been lab tested, a single serving should be low-FODMAP based on the ingredients at time of posting
  • Hams are often low-FODMAP, provided no added onion, or garlic seasonings are used. My ham contained:
  • Oranges are low-FODMAP in 130g servings, Zest is low-FODMAP in 5g servings
